Changing the case type

Changing your Case Type is great for keeping your cases organised, especially if you have a team of staff members. With these simple steps, you can change your case types easily and quickly.

All of these steps will be starting from the Dashboard.

  1. Go to cases via the main navigation on the left
  2. Click the specified case you want to edit
  3. On the page that appears you can see the type located near the top
  4. Located next to type is a button called ‘Change’
  5. Click the Change button and you will be presented a window displaying the case type
  6. From the drop-down menu, you can change the status and save it via the ‘Change Status’ button.

Once the case status has been updated you’ll be taken back to the case profile, from here you can continue with your day to day activities or check out even more tutorials.
