Adding a case note

Adding new case note within our investigation software is a great way of keeping updated notes of a case. With these few steps, you can have case notes added to your cases.

All of these steps will be starting from the Dashboard.

  1. Go to Cases via the main navigation on the left
  2. Click the case you want to add a note to
  3. On the profile of the case, if you scroll down you will find a field titled Add a Note
  4. Using the required text box, type out your note
  5. When you’re finished with your note, click the Add Note button located under the text box.

Once the case note has been created you’ll be able to view the case notes located at the bottom of the page, with the user who left the note, the date, time and the actual note.
